Implementing sustainable transportation services in underserved communities throughout the San Joaquin Valley
SERVICES
Inspiration Transportation will provide service for hospital discharges, outpatient surgery, dialysis, physical therapy appointments, doctor appointments, pain management, cancer and radiation treatments, and many other services (pick-up medications, groceries, take to pay bills). Our vehicles and drivers are fully insured by a comprehensive policy that covers curb to curb and hospital to home. All drivers are First Aid and CPR certified, drug tested, and go through an extensive background check as well as a sensitivity and safety training. All vehicles receive routine maintenance checks and servicing.
PROJECTS
Transformative Climate Communities - The Transformative Climate Communities (TCC) Program empowers the communities most impacted by pollution to choose their own goals, strategies, and projects to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and local air pollution.
Black Infant Health program - One of Inspiration Transportation's first initiatives will be scheduling a shuttle service for the (Fresno County) Black Infant Health project. Black Infant Health is designed to encourage and support a healthy pregnancy, a healthy newborn, and women’s health.
EDUCATION
Inspiration Transportation is working towards developing a curriculum teaching youth about electric vehicles and the economy surrounding zero-emission vehicles - building up to a completion that sees participating youth retrofitting an internal combustion vehicle into a zero-emissions vehicle.
With focused curriculum we will help educate middle and high school students on sustainable transportation and its associated STEM careers in engineering while giving students a look into the future of transportation and our transportation infrastructure.
